I'm thrilled to introduce voice for AI agents and applications built in partnership with Vocal Bridge and AI Fund portfolio company and taught by CEO

Ashwin Sharma. Voice is an under-exploited frontier. In this course, you learn how to build agents with voice interactive user interfaces. And you add

voice to existing agents as well as build agents that can use voice as a tool or a function call.

Adding voice to an existing application used to require writing or rewriting huge amounts of code. And one hard trade-off you had to make was also

between the choice of latency versus reliability. It's historically been challenging to build agentic workflows that can deliver high-quality

responses, but also meet the tight requirements needed for real-time voice conversation. In this course, you

learn to build voice agents that are both fast and reliable. And you learn three key patterns for integrating voice into AI applications and agents,

as well as build voice agents for each. >> Thanks, Andrew. The first pattern you will build is when voice is embedded in an application. In this case,

speaking and clicking work together on the same interface. You will build a voice interactive game

where the agent responds to both your voice commands and your mouse clicks with everything synchronized over a single channel. Second, we'll be adding

voice to an existing agent without rewriting it. You will take an agent and give it a voice in just about 10 lines of code. The voice layer will

handle voice-to-intent conversion and your back-end agent logic will stay unchanged. The third pattern

is voice as a tool your agent can call. You will give your agent a make phone call function and when needed, the agent will make the phone call and

talk to the user. >> Hi, Andrew. I'm a voice agent built on Vocal Bridge. Can I ask a career advice question? >> Thanks for calling. Ashley, I'm in

the middle of recording an exciting course on AI agents. Can we talk later? >> Oh, sure. Talk to you

later. >> Cool. So, every major UI change creates new applications and improves existing ones. The mouse enabled point and click, touch screens

enabled mobile apps, and now better voice interfaces are enabling a new generation of applications. I hope you enjoy the course.
